Trento, July 20th, 2015
A little less than a month after the launch of Simon Van de Voorde, the prestigious trophy room of Trentino Volley Point - embellished and enriched with photos for the occasion- opened its doors to the first hours as an Italian champions player Tine Urnaut. The talented Slovenian taken from Latina, met the press to tell his choice and the thrill of being able to begin the adventure with a famous club as Trento.
"I love to train, to work hard and commit to keep the ball in play in our field or throw it in the opposing field. I wouldn’t exit the gym and I am a perfectionist; I like being able to juggle well in every skill and this is one of the reason why I changed roles over time. Initially I used to play as an opposite, then later I became spiker-receiver; any player likes to attack, but I do not dislike even the skills of the second line, where if you can disengage well, you can still have great satisfaction" he said.
"With Stoytchev it took little to understand each other: he wants to win and I want to win, we think the same way” - said Tine -. “Rado explained me his volleyball and I was very pleased to see that he perfectly knew which kind of player I am; in this way he has already made clear to me where I can still improve and how we will work during the year. I know that with him you train so much and he asks the utmost in each session; I can not ask for more. There will be lots of matches to play, we must calibrate perfectly the preparation. Personally I'm glad to find the climate of the CEV Champions League, which I had already played with the T-shirt of Izmir and Piacenza, because it’s a tournament of the highest level and, more generally, an event in which you travel a lot but it also gives great satisfactions as a player. The best of the European volleyball is all there and it's nice to be part of it.""
“I followed on TV all the series of 2015 Final Championship that Trentino Volley played and won against Modena. The atmosphere created by the fans was amazing” - he added to the microphones of the local TV stations. - “I hope to enjoy it personally in a few months, this time as a player of Trento and not as an opponent, and then help the team to play other important games like those."
Also the Yellow-blues top executives were attending the conference; the President Diego Mosna gave his welcome to Urnaut underlining that he was just the player that the Company wanted to this team, while the General Manager Bruno Da Re recalled that having a young but experienced athlete like Tine can be an advantage in a season in which inevitably you play every three days. Urnaut will leave Trento already on Tuesday to return to work with the Slovenian National team, which this weekend will face other two rounds of competitions in the European League, in this case in Belarus.
